This is the brand my kids first learned to fish on over 30 years ago. Still have the reel and pole in my collection and surprisingly it still works

I bought this to have as a backup setup and figured it could see some extra time in the hands of the kids. This thing is smooth, casts a mile, and the retrieve is quick. I figured it'd be best suited for slow plastic lures and hotdogs/bread for bream, but this thing fishes spinner/buzzbaits, cranks, etc just as well. A 5 yr old took the honors on first cast and landed a 3.5lb bass… read more on a Senko. No problems at all. I'm impressed!

Used to use these guys with my grandfather many many moons ago. Don't fish much freshwater these days but i still have Zebco reels 25+ years that work like the day you bought them

I used the reel this morning it was the smoothest reel.I usually fish with a bait caster but the reel isn't as fast and smooth

Everything that I've found including the Zebco website states mono as a reference for line capacity. I don't personally see a problem using braid.

Is this for sure the 2017 version of the Zebco Bullet ?<p>And is it boxed not clamshell...and spare spool </p><p>included ? If so then Ill order one. Its the year model I want. </p>
