I opted to switch from big 50 wides to these smaller lighter reels for general trolling. These do the same job but much better. They are lighter so in standup i am fighting the fish on the deck

Best kitefishing reel available. 60 inches per crank is able to get tight on whatever bites way faster than any other reel on the market. A bit pricey but so is every other top-shelf kite reel.

Have only kite fished a few times in FL and it always seemed like people were struggling to get the slack out of their lines. Not with this reel. Its amazingly smooth and fast at getting the line taught as fast as possible as well as good looking.

Super smooth and light.

GREAT REEL.

GREAT LINE CAPACITY ,SMOOTH DRAG,EASY OPERATION WHILE KITE FISHING . 60 INCHES PER CRANK SMOKES THE COMPETITION , AND CATCHES UP TO ANY BOW IN THE LINE OR SLACK WHEN PULLED FROM A KITE.

Asked by Mitchell singer 12 years ago

Is there a recommended rod to suit the talica BFC to fish 30 lB mono? I like fishing terez Rods but keeping on mind they are designed for power pro lines.
