can you get the power handle like the sradic

Brendan - TackleDirect Customer Service 2 years ago

Hi Joseph, Unfortunately we do not carry any power handle options for the Shimano 2021 Sustain FJ Spinning Reels. I recommend contacting Shimano Fishing USA for power handle options for your reel. https://fish.shimano.com/content/fish/nort

Of the two models FJ VS FI what are the major differences? I plan to use it for large Steelhead ( B ) run and Salmon. My first chose is the 4000 model and can't decide between the two. Are the mostly the same reel with slight differences? And if so what?

Rick - TackleDirect Customer Service 3 years ago

Charles,
The Sustain FJ is new for 2021 and has 3 new technologies, long stroke spool (probably most important to you), micro module II, and silent drive. Depending on the size of the water your fishing and the lb line you want to use the 4000 or 5000

What rod for inshore fishing for reds , trout , and snook with the 4000 model

Brendan - TackleDirect Customer Service 2 years ago

Hi Jimmy, We recommend looking at the St. Croix Med-heavy rod in 7' ( https://www.tackledirect.com/st-croix-jis70mhm-mojo-inshore-spinning-rod.html ), The Jigging World Night Ranger 7'3 Med-heavy ( https://www.tackledir

Hi Luis, The Shimano SAC5000XGFJ Sustain FJ Spinning Reel would be a little light for surf fishing. I would recommend a Shimano SRG5000SWAXG Saragosa SW A Spinning Reel. https://www.tackledirect.com/shimano-srg5000swaxg-saragosa-sw-a-spinn
