Don't expect Penn quality here and you'll likely be happy. At this price point this is a great combo .. for what it is worth. We got it as gift for a lady friend and she loves it. I doubt she will be hooking into any MONSTERS so this combo will do the trick I am sure of it.

Nice rod for chicks, wives who aint serious but just wonna be out in the sun. Lol it performs but its not the highest on quality but woukd recommend as a starter rod if not serious.
