Ive fished my 25 for fluke, false Albies, Bonito, Spanish Macks, Blues, Stripers and even hooked a Cow Nose Ray

it's a really smooth and relatively light reel. The drag works flawlessly and the handle knob is just comfortable. Own a 2500 for inshore and it's still going strong

Buddy of mine has 3 we use for catching bait and sometimes channel cats and they have always performed for us. Quantum seems to make good spinners in my opinion from the ones i've used, and are especially good when TD has a BOGO sale.

I have always had good luck with Quantum reels, and this one is special. At 8.6 oz. I can fish with it
for hours on end. The drag is super smooth, and the retrieve is fast. All in all an awesome reel.

Got a pair fished them for a month now not a single issue other than not enough fish to satisfy this thing. Quantum is overlooked often, great quality great price.

Is this a saltwater sealed reel?

Robert,<p>The Quantum Smoke PT Saltwater spinning reel is made to handle saltwater with it's Saltguard protection. It however is not a fully sealed reel. But with general washdown and cleaning the reel will last. I've had mine for over 5 years. Please
