Got it on my popper rod. Casts a mile and has the power to pull on the big ones.

I also have Quantum PT Icon IC100SPT, Energy PT E100HPTA, Tour MG PT T100HPTMG, Iron PT IR300SPT.
All reels including Smoke PT were sent to Quantum reel service to adjust the grinding problems.
I think Quantum, Abu Garcia, Penn, and a few other reels are very similar or the same reels as Chinese OEM reels.
I would not buy any other reels again expect Shimano.

I use this for salt water lines with 40lb spiderwire blue camo. For a whole 200 yard spool on with a little mini backing. With 25lbs of drag striped bass and blue fish donâ™t stand a chance around bridges I fish. I plan on dropping for blackfish and seabass because I can. It has the nuts to do it. Paired it with a 6â™6â Mh tsunami slow pitch jigging / casting rod and… read more the combo canâ™t be beat. I can cast a mile and horse anything I want inside the 3 mile line. Once you set this to your lure or jig, itâ™s impossible to backlash. Between cast control and the magnet it can NOT be done. No thumb, no problem.

Hello Don, Yes we can spool this for you with mono for free, braid would have to be purchased but the spooling would still be free.
