I pick up the reel and rod combo and i have to say i love it so far. Its smooth and casts great. When i received it the reel was missing its handle so i called up tackledirect and they had me a new handle sent out with in a few days.

This is the 2 combo I have. The quality of manufacture and materials is above other much more expensive combos. You won't get better for that price.

What size would yall prefer for inshore sea trout and red drum . I Have a 4500LL already and find its a little large

Neal,<p><br /></p><p>We would recommend the 2500 size. The 3500 is virtually the same sized reel as the 4500 just with a smaller spool that holds a bit less line. 2500 will still hold plenty of line and will be a great option for reds and trout.</p>

Is the combo rod a Penn jigging rod or a TD rod? Ideally, want the rubber butt for the rod holder.

Which size combo would be better for pompano fishing, thinking the 4500 but want the sensitivity to feel the bottom but have just enough stiffness to reel them in.
