The Penn precicion oil is very good for condition the reels after a fishing day.
Specially if you fishing in salt water enviroment.

Not Blue Synthetic Oil

Rick

Have been attempting to purchase on-line from other sources and all the items that were supposed to be Penn Synthetic OIl turned out to be the "clear" Precision Oil. I decided to give Tackle Direct a try since a question asked by a customer was answered that it was the "blue" Synthetic. When it arrived today it was the "clear" variety marked Precision Oil on the bottle and was read more not as described. There appears to be some sort of packaging issues along with picture and labeling issues that are driving me nuts. Very disappointed to say the least and will be returning.

It's Oil

Figured if Penn uses this on there reels then it's good enough for me. I bought this in addition the smaller kit to keep in the tackle box, as this makes it easier to re-fill (and cheaper).

Ask a Question

Asked by Peter Uveges 6 years ago

Is this oil blue? I purchased the regular Penn oil and it's clear and thick. I'm trying to find the blue one which is a lot thinner. Thanks.

Bernie 6 years ago

Hello Peter, this is the synthetic blue oil.
