I first got the C-10, but realized it was smaller than I thought. I exchanged it for the C-30 which is perfect for my river fishing from the banks of the Merrimac River in Mass. I filled it with Power Max 20 lb test line and have it matched with a light action 7' rod for striped bass in the 20 - 28 inch range. Fishing from the river bank with the small swim shads in the spring… read more is perfect for this combination. With the 20 lb test Max I can get about 100 yds on the reel. with a little backing and can land small bass in a pretty good moving tide without much trouble. a great little reel! Frank D.

How much 20lb braid line will this reel hold? (Ceymar C-10) and 30lb braid line ?
