Got this reel a while back and very impressed with with the performance of this reel caught puppy drum stripers catfish and a 3ft.shark at the outer banks of NC. with it no problem very smooth very fast comfortable to fish with paired with a daiwa coastal rod thanks tackle direct.

Hello Dave, <p><br /></p><p>The pictures we use are stock photos from the manufacture. You'll always want to go off what the "retrieve" is listed as. In this case this is a left hand retrieve reel.</p>
