Great nearshore bait caster

I bought this bait caster for nearshore fishing for primarily triggerfish and vermilion snapper so I could feel the bite on the drop. The reel holds plenty of line for the 100’ or so feet I use it in and has plenty of drag. It’s also very smooth. The only downside is it is a little off balanced and wants to rotate over which isn’t a huge deal but could be better.

I am a former Shimano user. Now all my baitcasting reels will be Daiwa.
