Better than the Fuego LT I have

Sean

Says its 8.8 oz(I got the 3k model) but it feels later. It also performs better than the Fuego LT that I have which is supposedly a better reel on paper but imo Revros > Fuego.

I have many reels and this is by far the smoothest, mist well balanced reel in it's price range. Very nice!

Light and smooth reel

Very smooth retrieve and drag, and for an affordable price. Glad they built this just as well as the previous model.

Find a better $50 reel - you can't.

I bought two 1000 size for my 6' light crappie jigging rods. The reels are smooth and solid, and I love that Daiwa has not removed the anti-reverse switch (unlike brand S), because sometimes you just need to back-reel, ya know? I've only had them a couple weeks but have smoothly hauled in a few slab crappie and a couple decent spotted bass that hit the crappie jig. Drag is smooth read more and the reel cranks 'em in. Nice. I like the color scheme, it looks good on my Eagle Claw Powerlite rods. I have another nice rod coming in and will be buying one of these in the 2500 size for it. Me likey.

Daiwa Revros LT Spinning Reels Questions and Answers

Ask a Question

Asked by Kellen 5 years ago

Is this reel for saltwater?

Bernie De Graaf 5 years ago

More of a freshwater reel then saltwater.

Asked by Pete 3 years ago

What would pair better with a 6' ultra light st. croix premier for stream trout fishing, a 1000 revros or a Daiwa QG 750?

Austin Kearney 3 years ago

I would go with the Revros 1000D.

Asked by John 4 years ago

Is the 2000 model just the 1000 with a larger spool? I'm setting up a light action rod for trout spinning with agressive lures. Spinners and jerkbaits.

Tyler Bennett 4 years ago

Yes they are going to be almost the same size with different size spools

Asked by Rice 5 years ago

Is this a left handed retrieve reel?

Rebecca Redington 5 years ago

You can switch the handle to the retrieve you would like it to be.

Asked by Justin Shirley 6 years ago

Do you have the Daiwa Revros LT 2000 in stock.

Rebecca 6 years ago

All models are available for Pre-Order. These are currently not in stock.

Asked by Daniel 6 years ago

Specs indicate that the Revros 1000 and the Revros 2000 each weigh 6.4 oz, but the line capacity of the Revros 2000 is much greater. Are the reels actually the same size?

Rebecca 6 years ago

Yes, same size reel with different line capacities.

Asked by Lenny 6 years ago

What is the difference in the Daiwa Revros LT's "D" and "CP" models?

Rebecca 6 years ago

CP stands for Clam Pack which is the packaging the reels are shipped in.
