A nicely made rod

I like everything about this rod EXCEPT that the the line guides at the tip are a bit small and catch the slip knot markers I use when panfishing with a slip bobber. They definitely rob part of the momentum of the casted tackle.

Great set

This is a pretty solid rod and reel. I personally love the look of this rod and reel. I think spinner reels are great myself, easily swappable to be a right handed reel if you wanted, but I prefer the left hand reel while my right hand handles the rod. I've caught several smaller bass using this as my main rod for ponds and such so far. It may not be the best for giant fish, but read more time will tell, as I hope to catch some big boys in the lake with it when I make it down there soon. The reel and line shipped first and got here very fast. The rod shipped in a big thick tube, and the two pieces wrapped inside the tube. Hefty staples on the tube, I used pliers to get them out. Shipping is thoughtful and the service is great. Very happy with it so far and I don't expect that will change.

Pleasantly surprised

Bought this during the summer of COVID when it was hard to find any replacement rods/reels. Length makes it a challenge to fish out of a kayak or store in a vertical rod holder, but it is not the manufacturer's fault I bought an 8'6" rod. Reel was better quality than I was expecting. Have since made this my slip-bobber combo. The extra length really helps taking up the slack read more line.

When you travel outside of the state or the country and want to fish, you need a inexpensive equipment but whit quality for make the job.
This is the Daiwa Revros LT Spinning Combo best definition.
For medium size predators in rivers, ponds or inshore.
I have this combo and is my first choice for any camping near the water.

Light and Tough

Any reel from Daiwa described as an LT will come with a lightweight reel while packing the ability to take abuse. This is a pretty tough Revros reel!

What are the line and lure ratings for the REVLT25-4BI/G662M combo and REVLT30-4BI/G702M combo?
William Larkin 3 years ago

REVLT25-4BI/G662M monofilament: 6lb/160yd, 8lb/110yd. Braid: 6lb/220yd, 8lb/150yd. Combo can handle 10 lb line but casting distance and performance may suffer slightly.
Lure rating is not provided by Daiwa, however I would suggest anywhere betweem 1/
