Great reel!
Favorite reel for jigging
Light weight and plenty of power .
Great reel for the price!
Its light, fits in the palm of your hand really nice. The handle feels great. Love the Matte finish. I use it for swim baits and halibut fishing with stripers.
Great musky reel
I bought this reel from a local tackle shop in Pa for musky fishing. When I first used it, it made a loud screech when it casted. I took it home and cleaned the spool and on the inside of the side plate. It then stopped making the noise, but it does need cleaning so it doesn't make that noise. I do it every month and it is fine. other than that it is great! it casts far and smooth… read more after cleaning. it reels smooth and also has good drag. I can cast any size lure up to 10 ounces and it casts far. would definitely recommend if you don't want to spend 300 on a tranx.
Super light weight!
This reel is a dream to own. had mine for about a year haven't had any issues with it.
The two knob is always a paddle handle while one knob is a power handle.

A good match for that reel would be the 7' M power Shimano Teramar XX Northeast Casting Rod.

https://www.tackledirect.com/shimano-txnc70m-teramar-xx-northeast-casting-rod.html

The Daiwa Lexa HD is the big brother to the Lexa type WN. It is the next step up in terms of reel class. You can expect a top of the line product with the HD, whereas the WN is a quality reel for someone looking to spend less.
Unfortunately we only have the 400 HL with the 6.3:1 left hand. We do not have a 6.3:1 left handed model in the 300 size.
Hello, The 300 would be a little big for the airwave coastal but will fit nice on the classic.
Daiwa line rating goes by their Samurai Braided Line which is thinner than the J-Braid. If it says 180 yards of 55 its would be more like 40 rather than 55 due to the different diameters.
Yes that reel size would pair well with that rod.
The TIC70MHF rod would be a solid match pairing it with Daiwa Lexa WN reels fishing for Fluke, Seabass and Porgies. The rod will provide a good amount of flex and still has the backbone you need to leverage some big fluke into the boat.
According to Daiwa the Daiwa Lexa WN Baitcasting Reels have a synchronized level wind.
