2500 and 3000
So I bought a 2500 and a 3000. I do not recommend going any bigger then the 2500 for bass holds and has enough drag.3000 works great for in shore and thats just what I use it for I love how its corrosion and scratch resistant. Both reel very smooth, pretty light . How ever the only thing I dislike is the switch under the spool that you flip to make the handle spin backwards.… read more I catch myself checking a good bit to make sure it wasnt bumped and switch specially in the kayak and that its not fully sealed. But for the price great buy dont waste hundreds on others this will work just fine and then some

First, I would say that I HIGHLY recommend these reels. I own two of them in a 4000 and 3000 series for inshore fishing. I use them catching spanish mackerel off a pier, to landing 30 plus inch redfish on the surf and flats.
