was not impressed at all with this combo. Was looking for a pole and reel combo for my little cousin for cheap but it is a total throw away pole in a few years. Advertises it is a big game reel and rod combo, but there is no way this is standing up to a stirper that grabs your bait and is 30 lbs or more.Great looking burner pole if that is what you are looking for, but I would recommend… read more getting the Penn Rival Levelwind Combo instead for a few dollars more. It has less drag and is a few more bucks, but it is of better quality in my opinion. Plus for your cash, if it happens to go overboard because one of the youngins looses it $15 bucks more it is not that much more for the Penn combo. It may be less shiny and attractive, but the Penn is a better combo in my opinion.
