Operates very nicely. Great for drop shot.
Has a keeper for your weight. Great for not flipping all over the place and getting tangled with other rods. Casts long distance, smooth, good drag system and looks real cool. I pair it with a st croix legend tournament - ML for drop shot.

Paired this real up with a St. Criox Avid Pearl spinning rod for my wife. She loves it, smooth cast, easy retrival.Great line capacity and drag for her finesse style fishing. Most of all she loves the color of it against her St. Croix rod.

Doesnâ™t say this reel or the casting reel have any corrosive resistant, with that being said, is it a good idea to use it for saltwater? Or is it mainly a freshwater reel?

Would depend on the technique your fishing. Something in the area of a 7 foot to 7' 6" m or mh fast action would pair up well.
