Extremely well made and durable. Solid construction. Drag adjusts easily, as does magnetic braking system. It's a little heavier and larger than some other competitive products, but worth it for the dependability it provides when fishing for larger fish, and for using bigger baits. From the information that I have this reel can be made in Taiwan, Sweden, or China. Unfortunately I can't say where the ones we carry are made because we currently do not have any in stock so I can't go look at them.

Where is this made? I've read about some of the Pro Rocket reels actually being just Chinese knock offs.

These model numbers are always manufactured in China. These are not Sweden.

Can 30 to 50 lb mono test be used on this reel and how many yards will it hold?

It might hold 200-225 yards of 30# mono. Maybe 100-150 yards of 50# mono.

Is there a difference between a CS 7000 and a CS 7000 Pro Rocket? Is Pro Rocket stamped into the side plate?

The Pro Rocket has one more bearing than the 7000c. We do not think that it is stamped.
