Bought it based on some pretty good reviews & though I would give it a try. When delivered, I was impressed how quiet/smooth it is. I thought, oh well, just another 6 pin centrifugal brake reel. As I always do, I immediately took it apart & cleaned/lubed it MY WAY. Frankly, its built just like 90% of its competition...nothing special. I reassembled it & immediately took it… read more fishing. I put it up against my K & Tatula type R. SURPRISE! Using the same PLUG (different colors) it casts farther than either the K or the R. Not much farther, but farther. It's quiet, smooth, and consistent. It has a better anti reverse than the K, and just as easy as the R to tune and use. I REALLY LIKE THIS REEL because I'm just sick of paying SO much for reels that really perform. I'M HOOKED!
