These rods are built with signature Ugly Stik design features such as a Clear Tip design for superior strength and sensitivity and Ugly Tuff one piece stainless steel guides that resist corrosion and eliminate insert pop-outs. All models feature even taper actions that make for excellent casting distance with smaller live baits and artificial lures and are fitted with premium cork handles etched with the Ugly Stik logo. All models are covered by a 7 year warranty.

Very happy with this rod. I use it in shallow salt water for everything from small jigs, split shotting, live bait and even sabiki bait rigs. Love it.

This is my go to rod for loaning to friends that are learning haha. Its perfect, only downside I can say is its not so sensitive but it makes up in the durability category

<span>Hi Billy, According to Pure Fishing, The Ugly Stik Inshore Select Spinning Rods do not have a listed rod tip action due to the rod tip being made of all fiberglass material. Fiberglass rods tend to have a more moderate tip action. Please let us know
