Small reel seat limits reel selection
Had my spiral wrapped Tsunami Slow Pitch rod set up with a Seigler SG. It was fine for that. I had the Seigler on another slow pitch rod when it was lost. Bought a Penn Fathom 15XNLD 2 Speed reel to pair with this Tsunami SP rod but the reel seat is too small to fit it. Will have to buy a Penn SPJ rod I guess. Not sure will have a use for this rod any more. You might want… read more to check at a physical store if this rod will fit first, then order from TD as they often have the best price.
Excellent fluke rod
Paired with baitcaster . Excellent fluke rod
Great rod! Working well so far.
Gift for my son in law. He loved it and it caught fish. Am buying another for my son.
Good for fluking and seabass
I have a spinning and conventional version of this rod. A little bit flimsy when it comes to jigging some heavier bucktails for fluke but it definitely gets the job done. I have it paired with a quantum accurist.
5 star
Super lite, fun to jig with! Teamed with tranx 3000 reel. Cant beat this combo
FISH CATCHER
Good quality rod ,very sensitive , you can feel the lightest take ,scored lots of fluke, porgies and sea bass
Great value rod
Great rod for jigging and live lining. Good components, very light, and plenty of backbone for larger fish.
Tsunami slow pitch jigging rods
Love the action on these rods have begun well on sea bass I currently have a medium heavy and a extra heavy model and in considering adding a heavy action model to my Arsenal looking forward to jigging tilefish Snapper grouper and other species species
Great rod
I have a few of these rods. The one I recommend the most is the 7 foot heavy conventional. Great all round bottom fishing rod. From fluke to sea bass to tog. If you are dropping on a deep wreck for tog or striper/drumfishing I would go with the 76. The only thing is that the reel seat doesnt fit every conventional reel. I have two rods with avet sxjs and they fit perfectly… read more but wouldnt seat a shimano torium 14.
They get it done
Light and strong with great action at this price point.
Great fishing rod! Highly recommended!
I have used this rod 5 times now, and I can tell you this is one of the best rishing rods I have fished with!
Suprisingly strong rod
Well built and can handle 40-60# yellowfin. Landed a few last year. Looking for more in 22'

Haven't put this to the test yet but over the spring/summer we will see how it holds up.
We jig off the panhandle of Florida for just about everything from 30lb red snapper to 60lb+ AJs along with a handful of sharks that won't leave us along.
Decided to try something new and paired this with the Gomexus LX50 reel which will have 40lb nomad multi colored braid.

overall this rod looks amazing and hopefully will hold up.
Great Combo Rod
I ordered this rod for Fluke, Sea Bass Blackfish. It is light and sensitive enough for fluke fishing and strong enough to pull blackfish out of there holes.
A Revo Toro Beast 51 fits the reel seat just fine and would pair nicely with these rods in terms of size and balance. It would make a great light-duty to medium-duty jigging set up.
Dan,
Either model will work fine with Avet SX, the 6'6" MH would be the one I would recommend for bouncing bucktails because of the lighter action. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

They are spiral wrapped and the Tica will fit on this rod.
For the 20PGA, I would recommend the 7'6" XH model.

https://www.tackledirect.com/tsunami-tsspjc-761xh-trophy-series-slow-pitch-jigging-casting-rod.html

Yes, both of those combos should fit well together.
This rod will be a great fit for the Shimano Torium 14.
The Fin-Nor PR10HS reel will absolutely fit in the real seat. Tsunami does not have the rod weight listed.
Yes, the conventional models are acid wrapped and wrap to the left. You may need to go with a custom rod to have them go the other direction and optimized for a left hand retrieve reel.
The Tsunami Forged 10 weighs in around 16oz and would pair up pretty well on one of the XH models.

The Shimano Torium StarDrag Conventional reel is a great fit on the 76 XH Tsunami Trophy Series SlowPitch Jigging Casting rod.

Yes the Fathom 40 will fit on the rod. The rod may be considered a bit light for your application.
Hello, The HX is going to be to big for this rod. I would recommend going with a SX size on this rod

2.25 to 2.5 inches at the most
An Avet SX model would be an ideal match for the MH Tsunami Trophy series rod.
The Tsunami TSSPJC-761XH Trophy Series Slow Pitch Jigging Casting Rod would be a good match paired with the Tranx 500HG.
The Tsunami TSSPJC-681H Trophy Series Slow Pitch Jigging Casting Rod 20- 50 rating is the mono rating.
The lure weight for the Tsunami TSSPJC-761XH Trophy Series Slow Pitch Jigging Casting Rod is 3.25 oz - 7 oz.
The lure weight for the medium heavy is 1 - 4 1/4 oz. So I would recommend the heavy if you plan on using 6 oz. These rods would pair up perfectly with an Avet SX.
The SXJ would be a great match for these rods. I would suggest the medium heavy for use with jigs or weights 4 oz. or less, and the heavy for use with weights 4 oz. to 7 oz.
Yes, all models of this rod have spiral wrapped guides.

yes, its the method on how you raise and lower the rod the right jig weight and the right rod, so yes you can use the xh for blackfish
29 1/4 inches for every piece.
30lb power pro will be just fine on the rod and reel.
