D16 Nanotech blank technology consists of multi-directional layers of IM7 carbon fiber that have been injected wit...h nano resin and wrapped in 8 different angles which evenly disperse flexural force in 16 directions. My second Carbon Shield

I loved my first Carbon Shield that I had to buy another! Paired this one with an Avet SX5.3 for use on the boat. This rod can handle anything from Cod, Fluke, Stripers, Sea Bass, Bonito and yellow fins.
