Top eyelet is garbage
Top eye had hair line crack in it didnt realize it until done lost couple $10 jigs and got to investigating it but ended being a hair line crack I hit it a couple times with my finger and more of it broke off but tackle direct sent me a new one soon as I sent the other one back just think tica could do a better job and not put cheap eyelets on there
Awesome little striper rod.
First night of fishing, we landed 2 5lb hybrid bass with no problem. The rod handled 2, and 3oz spoons with ease.
Good Rod for Surf-Casting Lures
The length, power, and action of this rod are perfect for surf-casting lures in the Northeast for Striped Bass and Blues. The rod is light, easy to carry long distances and effective within its rated range - and at a fair price point. I paired it with a Penn SpinFisher IV reel and PowerPro 30 lb. braid.
Perfect
I got the 9'MH 2-6oz for a rod this short and rated like this it still has some finesse at the tip unlike my rockaway hd 9'6. I like this rod much more for that reason plus it's lighter. I have it paired with a Shimano 6000 and it feels balanced.
Good for price but heavy
these rods are priced well if you are just starting out, they flex enough that they will wear out anything you are fighting. they are not the most durable, and they are very heavy compared to more carbon rods.
Awesomeness
Great smooth casting and can handle 6 oz weights really well
Very good rod
I fish with my son a lot from Manasquan inlet jetty, this Rod caught a lot of blue fish, black fish, sea robins, fluke. Very light and strong rod I paired with Shimano Stradic 4000. Very happy, cant wait to use for Albacore and Striped bass.
Best rods Ive owned
I love this rod. Been almost 5 years now and shes still going. From giant Stripers to big Togs. Much prefer this over my TFO. You dont have to take my word for it but the price should be higher for this rod.
EXCELLENT SURF ROD FOR UNDER 200.00
Very well made and dependable surf rod...great for stripers up north and snook and tarpin in florida...
We do not have one available to measure.

There should be a slight bend towards the tip of the rod in that guide.
You certainly could use this rod to target these fish, this rod is designed for surf use with slightly oversized guides for casting more so than vertical jigging or boat fishing.
If targetting these species land-based, or boat i would say the 3000 size
Thanks for reaching out about our products!
These Tica rods are a 50/50 split

A 4000 size will balance best.
Yes it can, but if you plan on throwing lighter I would recommend getting a medium so you get better performance.
UGSA is the model code for the Dolphin TC3 Rods.
