Great for a lighter bait rod or medium plug rod. Weight range isn't accurate but throws 2-5 oz excellent.

I like the quality and the weight of this rod. However, if you are catching mostly small fish, its' less sensitive than I'd like. However, it has the backbone to deal with larger fish. We landed a big Southern Ray on it. The rod handled it well.

I use the 9foot for tog on shore. I love the rod I have to cast for one of my spots and I can put it in a laundry basket from a hundred feet out or so.

One of the nicest rods ive used. I have the 10' H action matched with a Spinfisher 9500 and it is definitely a beast of a setup.

Have been bucktailing anything from 1/4 - 2oz with this rod paired with a Penn Battle II 2500. Not only is it light and comfortable, but handles fish very well. Landed a fair share of sea bass, fluke, bluefish, and striped bass on this. Highly recommended

The 8 foot 2oz is perfect for schoolie stripers and fluking from the rocks in deep inlets. 8 foot 2oz. Shipped quick too..

I have a 9' MH rod and the thing has been an absolute beast, it handles 30-40lb stripers with eade. My only complaint is the handle once the cork gets chewed up it will tear your hands apart, with that being said after a little bit of tape on the handle it was good as new

Tica doesn't list the diameter of the tip of the rod and the rod is currently out of stock. When it becomes available well be able to get the measurement for you.

How big of a shark can I catch with the 10ft heavy tica and how big with the 11ft heavy tica

Both rods would be able to handle large sharks from the beach, but there isn't a set size this rod is rated for. Really depends on line capacity, lb. test line, max drag of the reel, etc.
