We bought the 8 foot surf spinning one and a half to 2 ounces and it has been fantastic.
We were looking for a lighter rod that my 11-year-old could use all day and not get tired or fatigued and its done exactly that
We also use it for cat fish And snake head and its worked really well.
Highly recommend it
