The use of these two different fibers results in unparalleled abrasion resistance and increased color retention. FX2 has a completely round construction in contrast to the oval shape seen on many other braided lines on the market. This circular profile allows for improved line management on smaller baitcasting reel spools and helps to prevent the line from digging into the spool on hard hooksets. FX2 achieves a smooth surface texture for increased casting distance without the use of a resin coating that can wear off and allow the fibers to degrade over time.
