Very resistant to abrading in rocky environs. A good jetty fishing shock leader material that will save your main line and probably help you pull a few more fish through the rip rap or those river bottoms where you can get into anything. When tying up rigs using 30 pound test or greater and it is cold out, warm up the leader section that you will be knoting by pulling it briskly… read more through a soft cloth or paper towel. Then lubricate it and tie your knot while the line is "warmed up". It will cinch down much better and greatly enhance knot strength. I really get tired of paying fluorocarbon leader prices. I still use fluoro, but not the best choice for some knots, I have mostly switched to this mono for leader, and the wife uses it on her reels where I use braid.

What a pleasant surprise to find some line that not only is easy to put on your reel but also cast as smooth as silk and has great knot strength. Sufix Elite does it all. I like it so much I am going to put it on all my reels.
