Well built at a good price point

Purchased this rod to use with a Shimano spinning reel. It is perfect length, medium -light action and has an excellent feel in my hands. Glad I purchased this rod, very happy with the action. I will definitely buy again.

I recently bought the 7 foot med-heavy rod and paired it with a 3000 daiwa bg. it has been a very nice and well balanced combo that didn't brake the bank I will diffidently buy another star rod.

Love the action and weight

quality rod at a good value price. Light weight, good action. I use it for snook & redfish

Great rod especially for the price

The action of the rod is excellent, it looks great,it's very light and the price can't be beat. I much prefer it over name brand rods I have that cost more than twice as much. What else could you want, except maybe 2 piece rather than 1. I love Star rods.

Great flats rod

This rod is well made and perfectly balanced. I mostly wade fish grass flats and i don't get tired after carrying this around for hours on end. Love the medium to light action too. Will never buy anything but a Star Rod.

The 3500 would work with that rod, but a better match would be the 4000.
