This rod is nice. Took it to the beach and caught little 1ft barracuda and bluefin trevally with it. Fun! Wish the little eva nub on the but was bigger though

I like the reel seat style where you can completely feel the blank for the lightest bite. The 6UL is my favorite when it comes to wading
Very hard to cast for any length of time. Reelseat is uncomfortable
Too many eyes,does not cast as well as my other rods.

The lure weight of 1/32oz - 3/16oz is the range of lures the rod can cast effectively. 1/8oz will not be a problem at all, falls right in line with what St. Croix rates the rod at.
