Very Nice rod
Used this rod on a recent vacation for light surf fishing paired with a Daiwa BG 3500. Great Combination.
Great rod for the price
Purchased the ML action model. Great feel and sensitivity. Hard to find another rod in its class thatll beat it for the price point. At this rate, I wont need the mojo model at all.
Ct Croix Triumph 6'6" Spinning Pole
Great on Lake Large Mouth! Very smart looking pole too!! Paired perfect with a Penn Battle III DX 2500
St. Croix TSR76MF Triumph Spinning Rod 7.6
This is a good rod. I wanted to purchase the Tsunami Carbon Shield II but it was out of stock. I own the Tsunami Carbon Shield II and I wanted another one for a new reel. I chose this one as the specs were close. This rod is a good purchase. Comparing this to the Tsunami, I feel the St. Croix does not have as much of a back bone to handle bigger fish if the need arises. I am sure… read more it would hold up but there is a difference in the bend and power. It does pair well with my Shimano NAS2500HGFC Nasci FC Spinning Reel. I am not unhappy with this combo and will keep it for now. Hopefully I can hook something in the 10 to 15 pound range soon to see how the performance stacks up.
Great for light surf fishing
great for light surf fishing
Excellent rod sensitive
excellent rod sensitive
Excellent rod. Exactly what I was looking for.
I'm a big fan of St Croix rods and this one didn't disappoint. I primarily fish for freshwater Bass and wanted to go a little lighter. The medium light was a good choice for me. I matched it with a Shimano VFC2000HGF Vanford Spinning Reel. Customer support at Tackle Direct is excellent. They steered me in the right direction.
Great Rod!
Fantastic inshore rod!
Super light and reliable under pressure
I've been using the medium power fast actionTriumph for a few months now. Casting paddle tails or small hard baits from the shore but also using it to cast in deeper areas just outside the reef, this rod has performed really well in both conditions. Even under pressure from decent size emperor fish or lyretails, as you can see in the picture.
I have paired it with a Daiwa BG…

MQ 3000 spooled with15lbs braid and I feel it's a perfect combination, light, super well balanced which gets you casting for hours without feeling fatigued.
Outstanding Walleye Rod
Good fit, affordable, and high quality built. Very sensitive to light biting walleyes. Love the rod. I have 4 of them.
Nice rod
Cant go wrong with one of theses. Great feel.
Finding right rod
this rod has excelled beyond my expectations , its amazing that this rod works and feels like the one i had made at my custom rod shop !!!!! For half the price too !!!!! Anyway , I will buy another one just to have to replace one of my other ones i use weekly.......Thank you St.Croix
Great rod
Caught my first bass on 6' MH many year ago and still going. I also own a 6'6" ML and a 6'6" ML traveling. Reliable and sturdy rod.
Favorite entry level performance
I have the 7ft M that i pair with my 2500 stradic for inshore applications and bass
5'5" is the longest length in a UL power.
The pieces are around 40" in length. This rod would fit fine in the St Croix Travel case RC45.<p><br /></p><p>link: https://www.tackledirect.com/st-croix-traveler-rod-case-45in.html</p><p><br /></p><p> </p>
Hello Zach, <p>The St.Croix triumph rods have a gloss finish about 6 inches up from the foregrip and the rest of the blank has a matte finish </p>
<span>Hi David, I would recommend a St. Croix Triumph Travel Spinning Rod as this series has all 4 piece models. </span><a>https://www.tackledirect.com/st-croix-triumph-travel-spinning-rods.html</a><span> Please let us know if theres anything else we can
<span>Hi Jason, Depending on what your fishing for, I would recommend using a Shimano ST2500HGFL Stradic FL Spinning Reel. </span><a>https://www.tackledirect.com/shimano-st2500hgfl-stradic-fl-spinning-reel.html</a><span> This reel is very strong and light
They are made in Mexico
The #6 and #7 handles have a longer butt section. St. Croix has a more detailed chart on their web page. <a href="http://stcroixrods.com/products/freshwater/triumph" target="_blank">http://stcroixrods.com/products/freshwater/triumph</a>
No Medium Heavy in 2pc. Closest for these rods would be TRS70MF2
Yes, it is a good rod for worming.
It can be used as either but is geared towards fresh water.
A 500 size Shimano Nasci would pair up well with the UL
Hello Dylan, the 7 foot mh fast action rod would pair up nice with the 5000 Nasci for kayak fishing.
