These rods would certainly be able to handle any of the fish you wish to target, these rods are built to handle almost anything.<p>While im sure you can mount a conventional style reel on this rod i wouldnt recommend it, I would highly recommend a Shimano

Why are you charging 630 to 650 when these rods retail in many places for 430 to 460?
