TREVALA
sin duda mi ca?a favorita para atun
la utilizo para jigs pesados con un twin power 5000
y para paseantes con un saltiga 10000.
(without a doubt my favorite rod for tuna
I use it for heavy jigs with a twin power 5000
and for walkers with a saltiga 10000.)
Quality, lightweight, strong rod for tuna fishing
When am looking for a rod for my tuna trip .I search to this site and discuss with so many other anglers for the opinion. But I can't confirm what I need for my reel and with in my budget. Afte that I talk with the customer care person with tackledirect and he helped me with rod .really appreciate for the your help and they are really knowledgeable people .this rod looks so thin… read more and feels like not strong .but it's strong and easy to use .it UT my 85000 reel and it's works so prefect.realky worth for each money .100 % recommended for big game fish
Light and powerful
Usually pair this with a 2500 Stradic and it's light enough to jig all day without tiring my shoulder. Good sensitivity and plenty of backbone.
Perfect jigging rod
Action is well balanced.
Great rod for jigging
Cool rod design. Strong guides. Very sensitive.
TVS-66MH
Having used it since August, almost once a week. Capable of everything, from porgies to cods, from 25 feet to 220 feet of water, equipped with different size of reels. Not a single issue happened.
Great quality for the price!
purchased the TVS66MH2 and have used it for close to 5 months on numerous trips. Love that it is a 70/30 2 pc which makes transporting it a bit easier, especially when the rod if being flown and there's usually a max length requirement. It's also quite durable as its fallen onto concrete, hit rocks, dropped on deck plenty of times, etc... and considering it's price, i'd say it's… read more a great buy! Currently have it paired with a daiwa 5000 bg and it works nicely.
Great Rod
TV66MH Is a great rod. Has a nice parabolic bend, very light, and good backbone. Would pair it up with a 6000 Saragosa.
Good light jigging rod
Pair with twin power sw 6000, has worked great. Its kind very bowl but i got decent big fishes
Great Rod for pier/bridge fishing for snook.
This is hands down the best rod I have ever used for catching snook off of bridges and piers using live baits. Great soft tip action to feel the thump of the hit and the backbone to pull them out from the pilings. I use the spin 7 ft ML with 30lb braid and it can handle most snook. If I am targeting bigger fish, I then use the 6.6 M with 50lb braid. Cant say enough about these… read more rods especially for the price.
Stunning Rods
I have used the 7ft Medium-light and the 6.6ft Medium heavy for years and they are great. I use them on the kayak for jigging and throwing lures for tuna, mackerel, GT's and much more. Never had one fail. Very light but strong rods.
TVS60H - Great rod for heavier jigs and big fish
I bought the TVS60H for wreck jigging in the Keys. This model is heavier and stouter than the 66MH I also have so it's better for the bigger jigs.
It's still quite sensitive and light, but isn't great for light jigs. It handled blackfin tuna, large cudas, and medium AJ's no problem. I did still get smoked a few times though but not because of the rod!

dedicated jigging rod is so much nicer than trying to make due with a regular rod. The performance of the Trevalas for the price is unbelievable.
Great quality
strong rod great for jigging, paired well with Saragossa its a beast combo. I do wish the foam grips were a bit better quality than what they are.
Shimano Trevala Rod Purchase
Order was placed and the item was shipped & recd in 3 days as promised . Product arrived in good condition have not used it yet . Price was competitive with what was available on the net
I really like how you can feel the bite
This rod handles weight up to 8 ounces with no problems and you can still control how you fish
Unfortunately these rods have been discontinued in favor of the new Trevala PX lineup of rods.<p>For the 2500 reels i would recommend a 6'3 or 6'6 Light or ML rated rod, and for the 4000 i would recommend a Medium or MH rated</p>
We will ship same day. If everything is in stock, you should have it in 2-3 business days. Yes, the rod would come in a tube.
The Trevala F is an upgrade to the original B. The following is from the Shimano website; Shimano has engineered the next generation of TC4 Construction. This new construction uses a high carbon butt section fused together with a TC4 tip section. This ne
I would recommend the Daiwa Saltist would go better with the TVS66MH for vertical jigging.
The difference is the length of fore grip and rear grip. All measurements are listed in the order chart
Yes, the 10500 will fit the Trrevala rods.
These rods are a 70/30 split above the handle.
The Trevala will be good for speed jigging, but we do not recommend you use this rod for surface lures. This rod would be too short. For Jigging, the 6'6 30-65 would be good or the 7' models will be fine. Â
<p>I would go with </p><p><span style="float:none;background-color:rgb(236,237,239);color:rgb(52,52,52);font-family:Arial;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;font-weight:400;letter-spacing:normal;text-align:left;text-decoration:none;text
You cant go wrong with a Shimano Saragosa. Depending on line capacity and the amount of drag you want, a 6000 should balance nicely.
I would suggest with a 5k or a 6k, depending on the actual weight of the rod. There is a significant jump in weight when you go from a 6k to an 8k, but with a heavier blank, it might still balance ok.
That should work out quite nicely!
2 would be packed within 1 rod tube. Total weight including the tube would be around 6lbs.
Shimano Trevala rods are great for so many of your inshore applications including jigging.Â
The 20000 is a massive reel and would be to big for the tvs66mh2Â
Cant go wrong with either reel mentioned. Both very reasonably priced for the strength and durability you will get from both reels<p>Only advantage the Fin-Or reel gives you is increased spool capacity</p>
6'6" medium would be the optimal choice for your application<p><br /></p><p>link:Â https://www.tackledirect.com/shimanotvs66m.html</p><p><br /></p>
This will be a good match up as long as you stay with 50-65lb braid. If you plan on using the reels full range 30-65lb then I would recommend getting TVS66M.
Matthew,<p>For Togging with a jig, the recommendation would be the Shimano Trevala Jigging rod TVS70ML. This rod will be good for the 1-3oz jigs, but if you have to go up to 5 or 6oz jigs you will be able to handle them as well. Please let us know if
Nick, <p>The Shimano Trevala spinning rod TVS66M would be better for jigging for Stripers. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with. </p>
<span>Hi Ray, What model of the Shimano Trevala Butterfly Jigging Spinning Rod series are you inquring about? Depending on the model. I would recommend the Shimano BTR4000OC Baitrunner OC Spinning reel for rod models: TVS66M; TackleDirect Code: SHM-0208,
<span>Hi Carlos, Depending on what your fishing for I would recommend a Penn BTLIII5000 Battle III Spinning Reel. This would be a great reel to pair with the TVS66M model for many saltwater fishing applications. </span><a>https://www.tackledirect.com/penn
<span>Hi Scott, The Shimano TVS66MH Trevala Jigging Spinning Rod would be great to pair with your Daiwa BG 4500 for bottom fishing applications for Red Snapper. </span><a>https://www.tackledirect.com/shimanotvs66mh.html</a><span> Please let us know if the
<span>Hi Tyler, I would recommend a 14000 Shimano SRG14000SWAXG Saragosa SW A Spinning Reel. </span><a>https://www.tackledirect.com/shimano-srg14000swaxg-saragosa-sw-a-spinning-reel.html</a><span> This would pair well with a Shimano TVS58XH Trevala Butter
Yes, the heavy power Trevala would make a good Halibut rod
They'll fit may be a little big you may want to downsize to the next model down on either the Penn slammer or the Daiwa BG
The 5000 saragosa would pair up better with the 6'6" mediumÂ
The only rod that will pair with that is the xxh modelÂ
