Built for the West Coast angler in need of uncompromising power and performance the Shimano Teramar XX West Coast Casting Rods utilize the industrys most advanced rod manufacturing processes. With powers actions and features to enhance both casting distance and lifting power this series of rods has ...what it takes to stand up to the hardest fighting game fish in the Pacific. The Teramar XX WC Rods are built on blanks featuring Shimanos highly touted Spiral-X and Hi-Power X construction. Spiral X construction consists of multiple layers comprised of carbon tape that tightly winds the blank diagonally in opposite directions resulting in enhanced torsional rigidity without adding extra weight. This construction results in an extremely responsive rod that allows for instant power transmission and greatly enhances fish fighting capabilities. Spiral X blanks are 250% more structurally rigid and 180% less prone to twisting than standard blank construction. Featuring nothing but the best components the blanks are equipped with Fuji FazLite Guides and Diamond Wrap handles that offer comfortable and secure grip. The Teramar XX WC rods are available in deckhand configuration as well as standard configuration models with Fuji Reel Seats to meet angler preferences. Built to be the ultimate West Coast rod for heavy jigs or bait the Teramar XX WC is ready for long casts and grueling fights.
