To get ready for the summer season coming up, I purchased a 7ft Tallus PX to pair up with my Tranx 400. Can't wait to throw at some kelp paddies, or pick off a few 40-50 lb tuna out here on the west coast. TD is my go to store! Found you guys about 5-6 yrs ago when I got a Penn fathom 30 on sale for 189.00. Also just purchased an Okuma rod that wasn't in stock, but they ordered read more one and shipped it faster than I expected. Never a problem with shipping, lost goods, or damaged products. Like everybody else right now, a little low on stock, but if you want it...they'll get it. THANKS TD!

I live in East Central Florida and wondering wich one of these rods would be better for catching big grouper in about 250 feet of water. Thank you.

I would recommend either the TLXC66H or the TLXC66MH. The heavy will be good for grouper over 50lbs but under 100lbs and the medium heavy will be good for un

If used for chunking on Yellowfins does it have some flexibility as sometimes we have to downsize to 30lb Fluorocarbon and have found that a Rod with a semi soft tip helps prevent break offs when using a light leader on 50lb class fish. .. I am thinking a

It depends on which model you're using. The Heavy and Extra Heavy models will have considerably less tip than the medium/medium heavy models.

These Tallus PX models in 6'6 H or XH should do the trick for most of your fishing applications and be a happy medium for some light trolling applications
