Strong rod
was concerned how a rod for such a low price point would hold up. slapped my daiwa regal on this- held up to a strong fight from a 5 1/2 pound monster big mouth 2nd day out. heard some crackling during fight thought rod was going to go, but turns out it was my bad knees.
Good
excellent rod for the price and also shimano
Shimano FXS60MC2 FX Spinning Rod cheap and better
Good rod I have two models of FX and they have come out very well, to do spinning and casting, it is also Shimano
Great rod for the price
Eyelets were straight. Rod is tough and strong. As the headline states, this is a very nice rod for the price.
Very nice rod for the price
No manufacturing flaws as I've seen on more expensive rods. Eyelets were straight. Rod is tough and strong. As the headline states, this is a very nice rod for the price.
Shimano fx rod
These rod work fine for what I use them for. I set then up with bait feeder reels for bank fishing.
Great rod for the money
I purchased this Shimano FXS66MHC2 FX Spinning Rod because of the great price as I have used it it's well built has a nice feel and cast great I have bought several and will buy more in the future.
Great buy
Very good rod, excellent value
Shimano fxs66mc2
I already own three of these and they are a great rod and you guys have the best prices anywhere
Cheap price, great quality
Can't beat the price vs quality on this. Rod looks and feels great. I use it for catching bait with sabiki rigs or bobber fishing for bluegill/other baitfish. I got the 5' 6" medium action. 6' would be better for some of the longer sabiki rigs.
Rod is great, customer service is better!
First off, the Shimano FX ultralight two piece is an awesome rod for jigging crappie. Super sensitive on the tip, you nearly feel fish swimming by the lure. I was buying my second one from Tackle Direct,
But there was a problem with shipping.
The rod got stuck in the corner of a post office somewhere in New Jersey, and after contacting the company they sent me a replacement.…

Right away. Avoiding USPS. Arrived in days, no charge. And if the second rod happened to break loose from its post office prison, I was to notify Tackle Direct and either return it or pay for it. And that did happen, and there was No Question in my mind whether to buy it or not. The bill was even discounted from the original price. Tackle Direct were awesome to work with. 5 stars on Yelp!
Great surf casting distance
great casting from shore, a must try. great value.
Great for the price
Great for stripper bass, surf perch.
Great for the money
Bought this rod as an all around UL rod. Wanted something ultra cheap and this fit the bill. Shimano delivers for sure. I have caught bluegill and sunnies, trout, largemouth, saltwater perch, rock fish and more. Also fairly durable rod too, banged mine around accidentally and its doing just fine.
More to come! Unfortunately not at this time.

Yes you can use this rod for saltwater. Would work really well in the bay as an inshore rod.
