Great for the Price

These are the best $15 rods. I bought several for saltwater patch reef fishing, and none have snapped even after bumping them and catching all sorts of snappers.

The longer baitcasting options of this rod are my favorite.

I purchased this rod for my youngest son. I was impressed by how well it is built and the action the rod has. I think dad may borrow this rod when he's not looking.

I have both the 6ft and 7ft. Both are sturdy and flexible, great action for medium rods. 7 FT seems a little more heavy duty, even though still a medium. perform like rods that are much more expensive.

Great rod

I own six of these rods and have used them to
Catch a variety of fish including striped bass , porgies ; Black Sea bass and blue fish up to 10
Pounds or more . You Can’t best the price point
And versatility of this rod even at a more expensive price . It is the appropriate piece of equipment for beginners and experienced anglers
I have equipped my shimano read more rods with high end
Reels . I am a long time customer of tackle direct
And enjoy dealing with them on a repeated basis .
