This has been my favorite rod to cast jig heads for speck trout, slot reds and flounder. Paired with a 2500 series reel its light for casting all day, sensitive enough to feel the tick of a trout in winter and has enough backbone to fight 8lb red fish. Mines four years old and has been fished hard and Im back for another.

Great rod with a NASCI 3000 reel! Have caught a ton of reds and specks on this set-up. M7�™ rod and spider wire 20lbs braid. You cannot go wrong!
