Ugly stick elite spinning
This is a very good looking rod and has held up very well for me. The only thing i have to say that is negative would be the weight it is somewhat heavier than other brand rods in comparable size. I use this rod mainly for fishing live bait and it does very good.
Can feel a bullgill hit the pole
Use Uglystik for the sensitive tip. Good feel. Can feel the fish hit the bait. Reel seat is upgraded on the elite
Not sensitve
very durable but not sensitive
My favorite Uglystik pole
the elite Uglystik are my favorite. Use them for everything from pan fish to catching tuna ( yes 6ft medium rod catches tuna off the boat)
Will continue to buy more Uglystik
Great rod
Never can go wrong with an Ugly Stik
Great rod and can't go wrong with ugly stik
I recieved this as a gift along with a Abu Garcia reel and it has been with me for 3 years fishing everything from Jett's to alpine lakes and its caught fish everywhere in between
Good to Start
Very surprised that these aren't more expensive considering how well made these are for the low price. Definitely recommended for anyone starting out or on a budget. 7'6" spinning rod has worked great for most light / medium applications in PA freshwater.
MH rod
Lightweight with good rod action. Throw on a smaller reel and catch freshwater largemouth bass, throw on a bigger reel for 40in stripers. Very versatile.
Not so ugly
Cork handle is an upgrade from eva. Strong and reliable. Only complaint really (for the 7'6") is the weight. Exhausting to cast artificials all day with it. Pair with a good reel to balance tbe weight.
Cant over rate these things
used them from the time i was a kid and still have a few that are as good today when i bought them 20 years ago
Great Rod....
Got this UglyStik Elite 4'6" one piece rod at a reasonable price over in singapore.
Held up well with the likes of Snappers and Sizeable Drums( Taiwan Ngo ).
Ugly Stick Elite MH spinning rod
Have not used it yet,but I know it will work just fine.
Durable Little Rod
I have been using the 5'6 rod for little stream and river fishing for a while now and love it. Unlike some of my more expensive rods i do not have to worry about snapping the tip off on a try limb and being out a ton of $$$. Performs well and i love the cork grip.
Love this rod for live bait rigging
I use this rod with a bait feeder spinning reel for shiners on various rigs. Has plenty of power for a "lite" rod. Great value overall with a good warranty.
This rod can be used for light inshore applications.
