Used the mh for snook, bluefish, mackerel, and drums even hooked into a massive ray an handled it no problem. Matched with a 4000 stradic, this rod rips.

I got the 7'2 MH and it's amazing. It's sensitive and light enough to cast lures all day long. I caught my PB Redfish on this and it hauled it in with ease. It also looks awesome.

One of my favorite rods for a great price! I’m budget friendly and this is a bit outta my price range but man was it worth it!

I usually stay cheaper then this rod but I’m glad I bought it. Eyelets are perfect and sensitivity is awesome. Love the feel and look. I currently use the 7.7 medium light but I will be buy the m and mh too!

Can i use a shimano stradic 5k on the 7”7MHF rod ?

Rick - TackleDirect Customer Service 3 years ago

Kelvin,
The Shimano Stradic 5000 would pair nicely with the 7'7"MH Savage Gear Battletek Inshore spinning rod. I would recommend spooling with either 12lb mono or 20lb braid. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
