Must Have for Saltwater/Freshwater Fly Fishing

I was first introduced to this tapered leader fly fishing for snook in Florida. It proved to be a great line for not only snook, but small tarpon, redfish, and seatrout as well. I have taken this leader material back to freshwater and often fish it for large pike, smallmouth bass, and largemouth bass. It is almost impossible to see in gin clear water and fishes even better in stained… read more conditions. I have no trouble throwing around small bass bugs with this line and it can even withstand throwing heavy duty articulated streamers for northerns. Just make sure you add another 1-2 foot section of leader material on the end to appropriately accommodate the flies you are throwing. Overall, I have been incredibly happy with the line. A great leader material that I recommend to any fly fisherman targeting freshwater game or inshore species.
