I use power pro depth hunter braid on multiple reels and have never had any issues with the line breaking. The line has great knot strength, is durable, and holds its color fairly well. I love knowing the exact depth of my lures and jigs so I can target right where the fish are in the water column. The only issue I have had with power pro depth hunter is having the line drift… read more in the current on deep drops which can cause issues on a crowded head boat.

I have been using the depth hunter power pro offshore for bottom fish. By using the colors and the 5 foot tick marks I have been able to duplicate the depth that trigger fish and vermilion snappers have been suspended. The ability to drop down to the same depth to target these suspended fish keeps the baits above the bottom hugging small fish. I caught 31 vermilion snappers one… read more afternoon and zero grunts or small black sea bass.

i used it for fishing amberjacks on the florida middle grounds. it allowed to to target my depth perfectly to get my baits right abvoe the reef.
