I got the 760XH paired with an avet HX raptor. The rod seems like a good quality build and pretty light for it's size. I'll be using this setup to pull up grouper and snapper.

This is my go to rod paired with Shimano Talica 12 ii. I use it for sturgeon and tuna.

PAIRED WITH AN AVET JX AND SPECTRA WITH A FLOROCARBON TOPSHOT WILL WORK ON TUNA AND BIG YELLOWTAIL, HERE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, LIKE NO OTHER COMBO. BECAUSE OF THE CARBON FIBER CONSTRUCTION, IT CAN OUTPERFORM ANY GRAPHITE OR FIBERGLASS ROD. THIS HYBRID MODEL IS THE FIRST OF ITS KIND.
