Perfect
Perfect for deep jigging tile fish !!
Nice Rod
Have these pairs with Penn Senators and they get the job done...
Best budget jigging rod.
Strong, light and cost effective.
Best Rod for the Price!!
It's a Penn, need I say more! Great rod with a strong backbone.
Works great for trolling live baits from kayak
I know this is a jigging rod, but I've been using it to troll live baits from my kayak in Hawaii. It's been great! Strong enough to horse in a hammer head to the kayak no problem. Great rod.
Incredible value
Great all around. Use mine for jigging, bottom fishing, and light trolling. Light weight and easy on your wallet. Like it better than many of my more expensive rods.
Rampage Jigging
Best bottom rod I have ever owned and it is capable of anything you put it through
Penn Rampage Jigging
Awesome rod caught 9.5 foot hammerhead worked great!!!
Cannot beat this rod
Best jigging rod for the money. They stand up the the abuse of a charter boat.
Can’t beat the bang for the buck
Favorite bottom rod, lightweight, strong, quality components. Big red snapper and gag grouper dont stand a chance. A+++++
Great value
Stout rod, and well built, a good rod for the money!
Pleased thus far, haven't been able to field test yet.

Penn rampage jigging rod
Another 5 star review I bought the penn rampage jigging heavy action rod
Great rod stiff where it should be and great action at the tip of the rod it was a good buy had a great with the rod this past weekend.
Something like the Tsunami TSAWBCJ-701H Airwave Jigging Casting Rod would fit your needs.
The mh would make a good light duty trolling rod.
Hi Casey, The Penn Rampage Jigging Rods can be used for light trolling and live lining applications. I would recommend a Penn RAMJG3080C66 Rampage Jigging Rod. https://www.tackledirect.com/penn-ramjg3080c66-rampage-jigging-rod-conventional
James,
The Everol 50 trolling reel will be a bit much for the Penn Rampage jigging rod RAMJG50100C62. Something like the Avet MXL or MXJ would be a better fit for that rod. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

Terry,
All models of the Penn Rampage jigging rod both spinning and conventional can handle 80lb braid. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

That is correct in most cases. A lot of these do in fact use the same blanks, shortening the rod would give it a stiffer feel and more power
The Penn Rampage Rod with work great for inshore jigging.
The Maxel Ocean Master level drag reel for a covential rod and a Shimano Saragosa 8000 or 10000 size for a spinning rod would be great for vertical jigging.
This rod has a load bearing capability of 80-130lbs. Load weights greater than 130lbs will likely cause damage to the rod.
Not really. They are not designed for that application. Take a look at the Rampage boat rods. They are exactly what you need.
Yes. The 30-80 or the 50-100 would work very well for the Blackfin.
The 6'2" 30-80 should work out well for you. It will handle the size Tuna you are describing.
The RAMJG80130S60 weighs 14.4oz and the RAMJG50100S64 weighs 14.8oz
