I was using the 7' MH rod in Chincoteague Bay when I accidentally hooked into what turned out to be a 70-80 lb. Southern Stingray. This rod held tough and got the job done, even if it took almost two hours! Quickly became my favorite rod to use on the bay in my kayak.

I got this rod in 7ft 6 inch medium heavy and it's everything I was hoping for. the eyelets are solid as can be the wraps are clean the finish is perfection. The action is what it's supposed to be, it doesn't seem like it will break if you really bend it.
