Assuming this is the same rod I used from a friend with the Conventional Level Wind Avet MXJ he had on it I can say it was smooth, powerful, and a joy to use. So much so, I've put in a request for information from Tackle Direct if this is really a Spinning Rod, or is that a miss print as the one I used was as I said with conventional level wind and I assumed I'd find it listed similarly.… read more I will be purchasing this rod in the very near future.
