Very good jigging rod.

Purchased this rod just for jigging. It’s has a great spine and heavy enough to fight a mid size tuna. The only thing I wish it had was traditional guide alignment. The wrap-around guide placement appears to be slowing the release of line. This is a problem when bottom fishing in 200’.

This rod has exceeded my expectations of a inexpensive slow pitch jigging rod. It preforms just as good as other more expensive models. The only down side is the length, I wish this came in a 7 or7.5 ft length as well.

I tried out my new 400g rated acid wrapped rod this weekend. Absolutely marvelous. It even worked for bottom fishing. This is a great rod at a really good price.
