Everything You would expect from Megabass

Another fantastic Megabass rod. Like most of their mid to high end rods, it has a remarkably soft, parabolic tip, making this rod more versatile than its power rating would suggest. like all MB rods, the Orochi line is simply gorgeous, with immaculate fit and finish. The EMTF is the 4th Orochi in my lineup and I am happy with all four.

Cracker of a rod

For the price I don’t think you can beat the Orochi Whipsnake. Cast light lures a mile and is extremely sensitive. Great rod at a good mid level price point. Excellent service as well. Very happy with my purchase

Awesome megabass quality, however…

Awesome megabass quality and amazing rod. However I can’t give it 5 stars, it doesn’t come with a hook keeper! I understand some high end rods don’t have a hook keeper but it’s wild to me… either way great rod.

Perfect Pitch

Fantastic rod! Rod is a lot more versatile than I thought it would be. The tip allows this rod to do things that other rods with this power rating could not.

Mindblown!

This was my first Megabass rod, and it blew my expectations! I fish the 6'11" Whipsnake for general purpose finesse, and it truly excels for Ned rigs, weightless flukes, and tubes; it's built for more than dropshots! I can also feel the fish taking my bait 30+ yard away, even on slack line whether the bait suspends, sinks, or sits on the bottom! It's crisp and light, but has a sturdy read more enough backbone to subdue large smallmouths in strong currents and big drag-smoking trouts! I got mine paired with a Certate 2500LT and 10 lb. Fireline Ultra 8 w/ 6 lb. Super FC Sniper leader, and it's the perfect finesse combo I envisioned!

Megabass HIT a home run with the new Orochi XX without doubling up the price for all the upgrades!

Received my new Megabass Orochi XX Bass Rod today from TackleDirect. By far it exceeds my expectations. Very clean...no flaws anywhere on it and the rod protector it came with is professional grade. Will be matching it with a Shimano Curado DC X. Can't wait to get it out for a test. TACKLEDIRECT shipped it in a very sturdy box and hand wrapped. Get one..its sweet! Thanks TD!

I'm a huge Megabass fan and this rod does not disappoint ! Ordered the perfect Pitch and this thing is sensitive, crisp and loaded with power. Used mostly for pitching jigs and tubes, works great for frogs also. Love it!!

These rods are really geared more towards freshwater bass fishing but they can be used for very light inshore fishing.
