Good and tough for wahoo
Good stuff
Good
A bit on the thick side
Best leader material on the market
I have tried multiple brands of titanium leader. This is BY FAR THE BEST. Stands up well to bites and clinch knots tie the best with the boa wire. Must have for any kingfishing
Works as expected.
Works well does not kink like wire. Using cinch knots....just dont expect to cinch knot all the way down like mono or flouro.
Relatively east to use titanium at this strength
I have used different brands of titanium wire, they are relatively similar. The Malin in the 30# seemed a bit easier to tie and were a bit less. Very flexible.
Not all titanium wires are created equal
Just like braids, fluorocarbons and monofilaments, the various brands of titanium wire vary. BOA is the most expensive and in my experience far and away the best. It is a thinner diameter and seems to be a bit more flexible, which makes it easier to knot. Like all titanium wire, it won't kink as will single-strand wire, so you can catch multiple fish without having to retie your…

leaders. It also doesn't corrode.
Good leader material.
I like to use 30lb for the front section of my kingfish leaders, then 40lb to the 2 stinger hooks. Very springy and lasts longer than the regular Malin steel
Durable leader material
I like to use the 40lb to make kingfish leaders, and it holds up much better than your typical steel. I use this method to make connections:

Its a little time consuming, but works well. I can use a single leader for 3 or 4 large kings without having to worry about kinks and breaking.
Great for ice fishing !
Excellent leader for ice fishing toothy critters (ie:muskies & pike) I like to use the 20 lb for bass & pickerel . Practically invisible I even watched a friend pull up a 12 lb walleye with the 30 lb test ! (targeting muskies)
Titanium is the way to go
I fish for Wahoo and the leaders made with Boa Titanium are far better than regular cable ones. Wahoo rolls over leaders and try to bite and cut them. This Leaders hold much better and do not Kink at all!!!
Boa Titanium Leader
Works great as a tip-up leader ice fishing for pike. I use a simple clinch knot to tie a quick-strike rig. Will catch quite a few fish before the wire finally fatigues
and fails.
Knots are hard to tie
It's practically impossible to tie good knots I used 40 lb and it broke easily! Knots were not dependable don't buy this crap
the optimal test would be in the 60 to 100 pound range
The 60lb doesn't look to be available for us, sorry.
