Reel seat adhesive gave way

Matty

Loved everything about this until it developed a creak on the reel seat that worsened until it started spinning more or less freely. Sent several emails to Lamiglas and made a few phone calls. No response, no pick up. Will find a local guy to fix it.

Don’t test on giant tarpon

This rod is fine for striped bass, Snook, etc. but tarpon wastoo much for it. During a 30 minute fight the rod exploded on me costing me my personal best tarpon.

Budget friendly, high quality

This 9’ 1/2-3 oz rod is becoming my new favorite in the surf. It can do it all. Throw small epoxy jigs, Bucktails, SP’s, pencils and even some bigger metal lips. The sweet spot is right around 2-2.5 oz. tons of backbone and great sensitivity.

What is the overall weight of the LCS106MS version of this rod?

Unfortunately the weight has  not been provided by Lamiglas yet, and we do not have this rod in-stock to weigh as of 10/4. As soon as we have that information we will be sure to provide it in the specifications.

Asked by Tyrone 2 years ago

Would the 9 foot medium pair well with VS200 , I plan on surfcasting Long Island open beach generally using a 1/2-1oz bucktail , sp minnow and 5 tusnami poppers.

Huy - TackleDirect Customer Service 2 years ago

<span>Hi Tyrone, The Lamiglas Carbon Surf rod in the 9ft will not balance the VS200 well. We recommend going with the 10 3/4-3oz to better balance out the setup and to work better with your application. Please let us know if there is anything else we can
