One of my favorites, Like Most fisherman , We have more rods then days to fish .
This one usually goes the most , you cant go wrong with this rod

Loved everything about this until it developed a creak on the reel seat that worsened until it started spinning more or less freely. Sent several emails to Lamiglas and made a few phone calls. No response, no pick up. Will find a local guy to fix it.

This 9 1/2-3 oz rod is becoming my new favorite in the surf. It can do it all. Throw small epoxy jigs, Bucktails, SPs, pencils and even some bigger metal lips. The sweet spot is right around 2-2.5 oz. tons of backbone and great sensitivity.

Would the 9 foot medium pair well with VS200 , I plan on surfcasting Long Island open beach generally using a 1/2-1oz bucktail , sp minnow and 5 tusnami poppers.
