Great rod
I got the 7 ft and it's perfect size for pier and boat jigging. Very light and sensitive for it's rating.
Versatile rod
jigging world rod bend almost like an ugly stick, super durable rods
Great rod for the price
Blackfish and Fluke rod at a great price!
Light and strong
The strongest and lightest 7ft spinning rod ever used, cast 3oz no problem.perfect for inlet use against current.
If I had 1 rod
I paired this with a Shimano Twin Power 5000 sw. Ive caught plenty if 40 lbs striped bass on a boat with this rod. Ive caught blues, tautogs and flukes from the beach/jetty. I bought rods that cost a lot more than the Nexus and nothing compate with performance and durability. Rod is super light too!
Great product
this has quickly become my favorite rod in my arsenal. Handled high 30" striper with EASE paired it with a saltx 4k and everyone who throws it loves it
Great rod.
I use it mainly in my kayak for stripers/fluke and shore fishing for fluke when I need to bump up the oz a little. Great rod, especially for the price. Can't go wrong with this one.
Amazing jetti rod
the rod is very strong and can easily cast 4 oz witch is impressive considering its 6 oz, thin and only a 7 foot rod. Great rod for fluke jigging on the jetty and boat quickly becoming my go to rod.
Great multi purpose rod
Great rod and especially for the price. I paired it with a daiwa bg 4000 for fluking which it was great for. I then took it out for stripers and it was great with them as well. Sensitive but also has the back bone to tackle everything that I targeted with it. Looking forward to using it on some mahi this year. I will purchasing another one to pair with a bg 3500.
Great Jigging Rod
My go to for inshore and back bay jigging
These rods seem to be discontinued from Jigging world
The Penn Battle II would pair up well with the Nexus
2-Year Warranty on all rods except Nexus and Tide Rider and 1-year for the Nexus and Tide Rider
Hi Paul, I would recommend the Jigging World Nexus 761S-MH Spinning Rod. https://www.tackledirect.com/jigging-world-jw-nx761s-mh-nexus-spinning-rod.html This would be great to cast large metal lip swimmers for striped bass and bl
The 7'MH would pair very well with the SaltX 4000.
Jigging World Nexus Spinner is specifically designed for bottom fishing and jigging of all sorts. It would make a perfect bucktailing rod for fluke.
It's doable but not optimal for the heavier jigs
There are a lot of reels that would work well with this rod for Tog. Here are a few of them; Shimano Stradic 4000FL, Shimano Saragosa 5000, Diawa BG3500, Van Staal VR150 or smaller.
